  1. Prepare 1/2 cup of chana dal (chickpeas) Soaked overnight.
  2. It's 500 gm of chicken cubes boneless.
  3. Prepare 4 of dry red chilli whole.
  4. It's 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of coriander whole.
  6. You need 3 of cloves.
  7. You need 5 of black pepper corn.
  8. Prepare 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
  9. You need 1/2 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain).
  10. Prepare 1 tsp of salt.
  11. Prepare 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  12. It's 1 of egg.
  13. You need 2 tbsp of coriander leaves chopped.
  14. It's 1 tbsp of mint leaves chopped.
  15. It's 2 of green chillies chopped.
  16. Prepare 1 inch of ginger roughly chopped.
  17. Prepare 5 cloves of garlic chopped.
  18. It's 2 tbsp of ghee.

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a kadai and add the whole spices and let them spluter..
  2. Add ginger garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears..
  3. Add the chicken, salt and turmeric and saute for 2 mins..
  4. Then add coriander, mint, green chilies and chick peas and saute for more 10 mins..
  5. Add 2 cups of water and boil the mixture till the chicken and chickpeas are cooked and the water is evaporated..
  6. Allow the mixture to cool down completely..
  7. Then add the egg and grind the mixture to a smooth paste..
  8. Wet your hands and make round shape kebabs of the mixture..
  9. Pan fry the kebabs in the remaining ghee..
  10. Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings..
